Royal Enfield releases its new adventure tourer bike The Himalayan in the Indian market at 1.55 Lakhs Ex. showroom Maharashtra. It is one of the most anticipated releases in 2016. The RE Himalayan is priced at Rs 1,55,545 ex-showroom Maharashtra and Rs 1,78,872 on-road Mumbai.



The adventure touring motorcycle concept was designed specifically to provide long range touring capabilities both on roads and off roads to make any destinations reachable. And the Royal Enfield Himalayan clearly fits the concept of adventure touring motorcycles. It is simple, lean, affordable and you would know exactly why it is made for in just one look. According to Royal Enfield officials the minimal design of the Himalayan is to reduce the unwanted weight and to give more importance to the performance of the bike.



The Royal Enfield Himalayan is powered by a brand new Long Stroke 410 (LS410) aircooled engine. It produces 24.5PS and 32Nm of torque between 4000 to 4500rpm. The engine is run with a 5-peed gearbox. The bike comes with a 21-inch spoked front wheel and 18-inch spoked wheels at the rear. The bike is equipped with a digital gear indicator, two trip meters, side-stand indicator, clock, temperature gauge, average speed display, compass, speedometer and fuel gauge. The fuel tank has a tank capacity of 15 litres and weighs at 182kg.
